If no sound comes out of your speakers, check the following :
Check at the back of the speakers if the speakers are on. There should be a green light on their front.
Check that mixing console volume levels are correctly set and that gain is sufficient. 
Check if the two Jack cables are properly connected to LINE OUTPUTS 1-2 on the back side of the interface.
Ensure that the audio output for the laptop is configured to the 'Focusrite USB Audio' device, adjusting settings both in your Mac/PC sound preferences and within your DAW's Audio settings.
