This video explains how to properly setup the Focusrite Clarett + 4Pre.

Then download the driver: https://downloads.focusrite.com/focusrite/clarett/clarett-4pre

Before opening your music software, open the Driver File folder and click 'reset factory default'.

Then all you have to do is open your software and select the sound card as the input and output device.
