If, after installing the Focusrite Control App, it shows you 'no hardware connected', chances are there's a problem with the USB connection. The 3 green LEDs on the front of the Focusrite should be lit. If not, there's a problem with the USB connection.

Always try to connect the sound interface directly to your PC, without using an adapter or hub.
